This Mill Farm Gown Pattern allows  you to construct a simple day dress, which was fashionable circa 1770-1785. It is designed with a 4 quarter back (rather than a folded back), making it an easy first gown.  This gown can be fully trimmed for evening wear, and it is shown here with its skirts a la polonaise.
